About Community Living Toronto
What is Community Living Toronto?
At Community Living Toronto, we support people with an intellectual disability to live the lives they choose. This can include finding a home, getting a job, building connections, and taking part in activities they enjoy. Our supports are tailored to each person so they feel valued and included in their community. Community Living Toronto supports over 4,000 people and their families in more than 80 locations across Toronto. The community living movement began with families who wanted their children to live in the community rather than institutions. Today, Community Living Toronto continues to promote inclusion and support the rights and choices of people with an intellectual disability.
