More than 53,000 adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities are still waiting for critical supports in Ontario – waiting to live safely, to belong in their communities and for the government to see them.

Increase to ODSP Rates

As of July 1, 2025, the Provincial Government raised Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP) rates by 2.8 per cent (%). 
 
This is the fourth rate increase since the government tied ODSP rates to inflation in September 2022. Since then, the rates have increased by a total of 20%.

Canada’s Disability Inclusion Action Plan is a comprehensive, whole-of-government approach to disability inclusion. It embeds disability considerations across our programs while identifying targeted investments in key areas to drive change. It builds on existing programs and measures that have sought to improve the inclusion of persons with disabilities, and establishes new and meaningful actions.
