Money Matters Work Shop at 20 Spadina

On Wednesday November 21st, we had a Money Matters work shop at our 20 Spadina location. Money Matters was created by ABC Life Literacy Canada with support from Money Matters founding sponsor TD Bank Group, as part of their corporate citizenship platform.

In this workshop, participants learned what banking actually is, how to pay for things, and the different between needs and wants, and all about budgeting.

There was a lot of open discussions and many participants left with more knowledge and understanding of how to manage and think about their money.

On Tuesday November 20th, we held our staff appreciation event at Parkview Manor. Everyone was in  jolly moods mingling and networking with coworkers that they may not be able to chat with on the day to day. We have the best and most dedicated staff!
