ME & LAU Family Foundation Scholarship

The purpose of the ME & Lau Family Foundation (“ME” hereafter) Scholarship is to encourage and promote the attainment of higher education goals for individuals with a proven financial need. Consideration will be given to students who have demonstrated a high level of academic achievement, who have made a positive contribution to people with intellectual disabilities through involvement in extracurricular activities, and who have made significant contributions of time and energy to community services programs. Community Living Toronto opens doors for a new accessible and inclusive community at Birchmount Green

On December 12, 2023, Mayor Olivia Chow officially opened Birchmount Green, a new building in Scarborough. This project is a collaboration between the Government of Canada, the City of Toronto, and Mahogany Management, and will provide affordable and barrier-free housing units for Community Living Toronto, addressing waitlists and offering appropriate housing for people with intellectual disabilities. Community Living Toronto Celebrates International Day of Persons with Disabilities with Minister Khera

Community Living Toronto is thrilled to announce a special celebration that will honour International Day of Persons with Disabilities (December 3) (IDPD). The event will take place at Community Living Toronto’s Etobicoke Community Office, on Saturday, December 2nd, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. This year’s International Day of Persons with Disabilities theme is “United in action to rescue and achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for, with and by persons with disabilities”.
