Disability Employment Awareness Month (DEAM) is an annual awareness campaign that takes place each October. The purpose of Disability Employment Awareness Month is to promote employment inclusion for people with disabilities and celebrate the many and varied contributions of workers with disabilities. Community Junction’s Fall 2019 class schedule has arrived! Registration for this session will open on September 3 at 10 A.M. on MyCommunityHub, with classes starting September 16.  

LIGHTS Summer Newsletter

The LIGHTS program, established almost 10 years ago, is an example of what citizens and communities can do when they work together to support people in need. In partnership with Community Living Toronto and the Ontario provincial government, Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services (MCCSS), LIGHTS leverages private philanthropic dollars to connect people who have an intellectual disability with unique cost-effective housing options that would otherwise not have been available.
