75th Anniversary

We will officially launch our 75th Anniversary campaign in March and will be sharing lots of stories of impact – stories that show what it took for people with a disability to be included. Canada’s Disability Inclusion Action Plan is a comprehensive, whole-of-government approach to disability inclusion. It embeds disability considerations across our programs while identifying targeted investments in key areas to drive change. It builds on existing programs and measures that have sought to improve the inclusion of persons with disabilities, and establishes new and meaningful actions. (Read more)

NEWS RELEASE – Ontario Invests in Creating More Employment Opportunities for People with Developmental Disabilities

The Government of Ontario has invested $1.4 million to connect 100 people with developmental disabilities to meaningful part-time employment which meets the needs of multiple employers. The investment follows Community Living Toronto and Corbrook Awakening Abilities partnering with the Ontario government to launch a cluster employment model for those with developmental disabilities.
